I am a Senior Sociology Major at Southern Utah University with a Minor in Philosophy. I currently have a 3.6 GPA and intend to go to graduate school in order to attain a Ph.D. in Sociology. As of 2009, I became a member of the International Sociology Honor Society: "To investigate humanity for the purpose of service."

Experience

I want to be a tutor because I think sharing knowledge and teaching skills that will help to enhance one's intelligence are extremely important to an individual's personal fulfillment as well as to humankind in general. I enjoy working with youth and feel I have a lot to offer in terms of sharing successful study habits. In 2000 I was selected by my fellow classmates as recipient of the Hope of America Award for demonstrating a capacity for leadership, ethical and moral character, and outstanding academic accomplishment. In 2006 I was awarded Employee of the Month for being dependable, punctual, and hard worker.
