Experience
I have tutored several high school and college students in math, one for nearly two years. As a math education major, I have taken many college math courses and am qualified to tutor middle and high school math and any lower-division and almost all upper-division college courses. I am experienced at all sorts of tutoring, from simply providing study tips to creating a remedial program to improve a student's basic knowledge. I frequently use resources such as websites and apps to allow a student to work through problems and explore concepts outside of tutoring sessions. My teaching and tutoring experience have also allowed me to develop a variety of teaching methods so I can select one that will work best for the individual student. Although I am not as qualified to tutor Spanish as I am to tutor math, I have taken several Spanish courses and would be more than able to tutor high school Spanish or beginning college courses.
