I am a Sophomore Criminal Justice/Chemistry Major at Southern Utah University, with a 3.92 GPA.
Experience
I have tutored General Chemistry online through Skype, as well as in-person tutoring math. I received my diploma in the International Baccalaureate program in high school, scoring 30 points on my tests, particularly a 6 in Higher Level English, and 5's in Higher Level History of the Americas and Chemistry, as well as Standard Level French. I also received a 4 on the AP Calculus AB exam. I graduated Salutatorian in 2014 from Loveland High School in Colorado, and scored a 32 on the ACT without Writing, as well as a 30 on the ACT + Writing. I want to tutor students because I have discovered it is important to feel confident in your learning. When a new topic makes sense in a challenging class, I feel accomplished, and excited to learn more about that subject. Through tutoring, I can help students obtain the same level of accomplishment and understanding, so they can develop an excitement for education like I have. Also, I am available to tutor over the Internet, through sites like Skype or Oovoo, if in-person meetings are not possible.
