Senior, Exercised Science Major at Southern Utah University. Graduated from Snow College with an Associates in Science. My high school diploma came from Gunnison Valley High School.
Experience
During my senior year of high school, I was able to tutor middle school students with reading, writing, math and science. While working there I was given the opportunity to also work with many students with learning disabilities. While attending Snow College, I was able to work with young kids ages 2 through 6 at a day care. We were able to help them develop skills such as counting, colors, shapes etc. In June of 2009 to June of 2011 I had the opportunity of serving a two year mission and was able to teach people of all different skill levels of reading. Helping many through service with math and science subjects as well. My ACT score is a 22. I accelerated in the Math and Science subjects for that test. The Math classes that I have been able to take are Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II, Trigonometry, College Algebra, Calculus I, Chemistry 1010, Chemistry 2010, Physics 1010, Physics 2010. Tutoring has helped me as well as it has the students. During many of my challenging classes, I have looked to tutors to help me understand and to comprehend the principles of the class. By being able to tutor, it helps the tutor refresh on many basic skills that helps as well.
