I have had to assist my younger siblings with homework all through school and I have also helped friends from school with math and English. I've spent the past 6 summers as a volunteer at a pioneer park and as one of the volunteers I have helped at the school house as well as worked with some of the kids of volunteer families as they work on Math and English. Math has always been my very best and absolute favorite class and I hope I can help people learn there is nothing to fear about the subject. I want to be a tutor because I love helping students understand material which is why I'm also an Elementary Education Major. I want to give all I can to help the students understand it and will try all the different ways I can think of. I'm currently volunteering at East Elementary School in Cedar City Utah 3 days a week 1 hour a day as a mentor as I help a 3rd grader in English and Math
