-Worked as a Peer Tutor at Western Wyoming Community College for two semesters, tutoring students in English/writing and ESL mostly, but also occasionally in statistics and basic computer science. -Completed 2 1-credit Tutor Training courses at WWCC -Scored a 33 on the ACT -Scored a 5 on the AP Calculus exam (2010) -Scored a 4 on the AP Statistics exam (2011) -Scored a 5 on the AP English Language exam (2011) -Scored a 4 on the AP English Literature exam (2011) I love being a tutor because I know how helpless it can feel to not be able to understand something, but I also know how liberating it can be when you finally do understand how to do something you have been struggling with. There is nothing better than the feeling of knowing you helped someone to feel that amazing sense of ability, and hopefully raised their self-esteem and self-sufficiency in the process!
