Experience
I am going to school to be a Biology/Chemistry teacher. I have a great love for science, and like to make it a fun experience. I have been a Teacher's Assistant for Biol 1010, 1015, 1610, and 1615. I have had the opportunity to intern as a lab assistant at Deseret Dairy Products in Salt Lake City over the summer. I am almost done with all of my Biology classes that are required and I will be in the teaching block next fall. I am the president of the National Science Teacher Association on campus. Through this experience I have been able to visit different elementary schools and do after school science programs to show them how fun science can really be. I have also had the opportunity to judge many science fairs, and I love being able to see kids using their creativity in science.

Hobbies
I love spending time with my family and friends. I am an outdoor type person, I don't like being cooped inside all day. I think that's why I love Biology so much, it's just always an adventure. I really do actually like going to school, I just love to learn. As a hobby, it may sound weird but I love to clean, it's just relaxing for me. I like to go to the movies, or just see a new movie in general. Ice cream has always been a love of mine, I really have a sweet tooth. I have done the Miss Iron County pageant a couple of years, and had a great time! Something interesting about me is when I was 11 I caught a pig at the Iron County Rodeo.
