I'm a really laid back guy. I grew up in a sports family. I played four sports in High School and three years of college football until injuries influenced me to move on...along with my wife. Both of my brothers are college athletes as well. I know what it takes to compete at a high level, not just in sports, but that's where I learned it. It takes a lot of self discipline and hard work, things I feel I can teach better than a subject. I am married and we are expecting our first child. She is also a student and studies psychology so we get into some good discussions compare physical and mental health. I really enjoy physics based classes. The musculo-skeletal system fascinates me. I'm looking to get into prosthetic engineering once I graduate and work worth paralympic athletes. This would combine my love of physics, sports, health, and just being a man and building stuff. I think it's a good fit. I also really enjoy the country life style. I like simple things and being outside. I have learned a lot from life experiences and have been able to transfer those things into my academic life. I developed add from brain trauma sustained in a concussion (good old football) and have had to adjust a lot, but I have been able to manage it without medication. I have experience working with autistic kids as well. I would love to work with your son/daughter and hopefully teach them to fish a little bit and not just feed them.
