I have experience working with high school students as a teachers assistant and a tutor focusing on subjects related to high school courses and SAT and ACT exams. As well I have experience tutoring basic college math programs and have completed general requirements on the collegiate level. I graduated high school from a private school with a 3.7 gpa, completed several AP courses such as psychology, chemistry, math, and history. Participated in varsity theater (captain), debate, softball (captain) and volleyball. I have 2 years experience working in an inpatient rehab facility with at risk teens as a Mentor and Youth Supervisor. Working with the teens instilled me with a passion for working with teens and helping them develop academic and personal goals for the future. I would enjoy tutoring students again in an academic field to help inspire a passion for school and reaching their personal academic goals for college. At times school can be overwhelming and confusing however with the right support and inspiration any course can be tackled and mastered which helps instill confidence for future courses. I would hope to be the guiding influence to help instill confidence.
