I am a Junior Outdoor Rec major at Southern Utah University with a 3.78 cumulative GPA.
Experience
I have tutored middle school students in various subjects for the past two years, and tutored a student for a college political science course last year. My efforts to help these students apply themselves and understand were very evident in raised test scores and class grades. In addition to having a broad base of general subjects, I have studied English composition as well as United States Government and History extensively, and am well qualified to tutor in both subjects. I love helping other students (at any level) gain knowledge and apply themselves to become successful in school, and to help them gain confidence in subjects that will lead them to success in the world. School is so important, and sometimes all it takes to make the difference in your education and in your life is one person taking the time to explain or even just to care. I like being that person.
