I received my High School Diploma in 2012 from Hurricane High School in Hurricane Utah with a 3.9 GPA.
Experience
My ACT composite score is a 26 with scores ranging from 25-27 in the three areas. I also earned a score of 3 on the AP Literature test. I have taken every math class up to Pre-Calculus as well as AP Statistics. The science classes I have taken include: Honors Physics and Chemistry, AP Biology, and Earth Systems. All the English classes I have taken are honors. Social Sciences include: AP US History, Psychology, Sociology (Student of the Year), and all other required courses to graduate. I have had a lot of experience tutoring in 5th grade classrooms as I taught classes 2-3 days a week for a year and a half. I also tutored unofficially throughout high school both during and after class for 1-5 hours a week. I also have experience with special needs students as I worked as a Youth Counselor in Special Needs Mutual for one full year where I was assigned a participant in the program and assisted her as well as aiding in organizing and running activities. I plan on going into teaching as a career. I have studied different teaching methods and philosophies and enjoy getting creative with learning. I just want to help students find their potential to succeed.
