Previously a biochemistry major at BYU-Hawaii. I have now transferred and am a chemistry major at Southern Utah University. I am a junior with a 3.6 GPA.
Experience
I worked in a chemistry lab doing research with my professor at a previous college as well as tutored his chemistry students. I took AP calculus AB, AP physics, and AP art history in high school and scored a 4 on all three. Scored a 30 on the ACT test. I have finished all of my general chemistry classes in college as well as calculus and calculus based physics. I am tutoring to help pay my way through college and because I already spend a lot of time helping my friends with their assignments and I've found I enjoy it, I might as well be making some money helping others.

Hobbies
I spend most of my free time outdoors esp. hiking, backpacking/camping and rock climbing. I enjoy traveling and meeting new people and cultures. I lived in the Philippines for a couple years serving a voluntary church mission teaching families and I speak fluent Tagalog. I have also lived in Hawaii for a time going to some school out there before I came back here to Utah to finish up. I also spent a summer working in Alaska so I like to get around.
