I am currently a Math Education major at Southern Utah University. I am finishing the block this semester (Spring 2013). Then I will be graduating and preparing to do my student teaching in the fall.
Experience
I have worked with various professors at Southern Utah University as a Teachers Assistant. I have also have some experience tutoring a few individuals who have struggled with math. I have completed the following courses at SUU: MATH 1210 (Calculus I), MATH 1220 (Calculus II), MATH 1630 (Discrete Mathematics), MATH 2270 (Linear Algebra w/ Applications), MATH 2210 (Calculus III), MATH 3120 (Fndtns Algebra & Analysis), MATH 3140 (History of Mathematics), MATH 3700 (Probability & Statistics)MATH 2280 (Differential Equations MATH 3130 (Foundations of Geometry), MATH 4220 (Abstract Algebra),MATH 4400(Advanced Calculus), MATH 4900 (Methods Tchng Sec Sch Math) I want to be a tutor because I love helping others understand math and realizing that they can do it. Also I would like more experience in the classroom or one on one with the students.

Mon/Wed/Fri after 3PM, Tues/Thurs after 12 Noon, Saturday at any time

Hobbies
I really love being active. Anything outdoors I have tried or will try, which is why Southern Utah University is such a playground for me. One of my favorite hobbies is that I love competing in Triathlons. I like to do high adventure things, for example I have been skydiving. I am also a Christian, and my faith is a very big part of who I am and affects almost everything I do. I love having fun, but I also like working hard, and am diligent in accomplishing what needs to be done. Oh, and of course I love math.
