In 2009 I was employed by the San Juan School District to tutor Biology to freshman and sophomores at San Juan High School. I have also spent many hours tutoring my friends in math and science. I received a composite score of 27 on the ACT, and a 32 in the math portion of the test. I have also passed AP US History with a score of 3, AP Writing/Composition with a 3, and AP Calculus AB with a 4. I am currently taking Calculus II, Philosophy, and several other courses from the Southern Utah University, and I will be taking Calculus III, Physics for Scientist and Engineers, and Micro Economics in the Spring 2013 Semester. In high school I took many advanced courses including; AP Calculus, AP US History, AP Writing/Composition, Physics, Human Anatomy and Physiology, College Algebra 1050, Mythology, and several other advanced courses. I was also heavily involved with my high schools Drama department, HOSA and FBLA chapters, and Student Government. I have a fair, but informal knowledge of Shakespeare and I was San Juan High School's Speech and Drama Sterling Scholar Nominee. I was Runner-up in Speech and Drama, at the Utah Southeastern Sterling Scholar competition.

Hobbies
I am a very friendly and open person. I love helping others and learning. In my free time I like to read, and I am very passinate about the public education system. The way children are being taught is important to me and my future, so helping others learn means alot to me.
