Tutored in the America Reads program, tutoring Elementary-age students in reading and writing. 2011-2012 ACT Score: 23 I want to tutor because I find it fascinating to watch students progress. I have worked as an Elementary school tutor, but would like to tutor other ages as well in order to gain experience in Secondary Education. I have taken CE course in Education and am currently taking higher-level courses in Education. I have also completed college-level courses in a variety of core subjects. I designed and directed a Book Club program for young readers at South Elementary school, Spring 2012.

Hobbies
My hobbies include singing, dancing, theatre arts, writing, knitting, reading, watching movies, and traveling, when I can afford to. One of my favorite places I have visited is Niagara Falls, both on the New York and the Canadian sides, but I can also enjoy a nearer visit to Zion or Bryce Canyon National Parks. Life as a student often seems to afford very little time for these interests, but I think it's important to play as well as work, if only to maintain the quality of either activity.
